About this Villa
Set in a peaceful area, but only a short walk to the beach this is a great family villa, with a fabulous large patio/pool area and a roof terrace with amazing views…
Inside the villa is a comfortable lounge area with 2 leather sofas, TV with full UK packages including Sports and Movies. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you might need on a self-catering break including dishwasher, washing machine and microwave etc. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, and two bathrooms: one with walk-in shower and the second with shower over bath.
Outside you will find a good size covered terrace area with a gated fence ideal for families with little ones wanting to separate the pool from the main house. Just past this is the pool area, with patio surrounding it, the pool is 8 x 4 meters with roman steps entry, the pool has solar heating. The garden area is private and is not overlooked by other villas also you have the use of the upper sun terrace, a great spot for sun worshippers and a fabulous point to look out over the ocean on towards Fuerteventura.
Villa Malvasia also has a Securitas secrity system installed for you peace of mind.

The property is exactly as the pictures show, with no surprises. Communication before arrival was acceptable and as expected. Checkin was very simple. The key was left in a security box and you let yourself in. We arrived early but as there was no occupants before us, we were allowed in when we arrived. This was great, as we had been travelling from 2 a.m. with a very tired 4 year old. The only issue we had was the TV not working, not a big deal and was solved very quickly following a call. The pool was a really good temperature, not too cold but cool enough to help cool you down. There is plenty of space and i especially liked the terrace, where our child could play out of the sun but still be outside. There is also a safety gate so you can close off the terrace from the pool. Enough kitchen tools do do all you need to do. Convenience stores about 10-15 minutes walk (depending if child also walking) and they stock what you need for for day to day. A few restaurants and beach in the same area but a bit further to walk to the main centre. Too far for our 4 year old. We would get a taxi to the main marina area (4-5 euro) in the evening. We would get water and other supplies when out at night and get a taxi back. Taxi's are very responsive. Never waited more than 5 minutes for a taxi to arrive at the villa. Also ordered takeway to the villa one night and it arrived within 30 mins. Taxi details and some take-away menus in the villa. The location is very quiet and no barking dogs, as mentioned in another review, so don't be put off. Water park at the bottom of the rd (5 mins walk max), which we used 3 x in a week. Its half price after 14.00, so we would go 14.00 - 17.00, which was perfect for our child. A bit of a change from the villa pool, with plenty for young kids to do. I looked to book this villa again this year but it wasn't available

Great Villa, exceptional amount of outside space with large clean pool. Everywhere was clean and well maintained and true to the photos. Location was perfect for a walk to Playa Flamingo Beach. Small TV issue was resolved within hours by David. Communication with Retreat Villas & A1 was fantastic and we found them to be extremely flexible in the current COVID climate. I would not hesitate to book with them again!

The villa was in a great location, fantastic facilities. We had only one issue with the water going off but we rang the number that was given and it was fixed immediately. A great holiday would definitely book again.

Villa Malvasia is a fantastic villa in a very convenient location near Playa Flamingo beach. The villa has everything you need and the pool and outside area are lovely. The roof terrace is an added bonus with stunning views. Everything we needed was provided in the villa and it was very clean on arrival. Retreat Villas are great to communicate with and we will definitely be booking again.
