Now that we have returned from holiday, I just wanted to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Thalatta, which as it turned out to have a great location, we had a fabulous time so thank you for arranging our holiday for us.

Hello our stay at casa thalatta was very enjoyable. We as a family have been to lanzarote 8 times now and the last 5 times we have stayed in a villa, this is the first time using retreat villas and I must say it won't be our last the villa itself was very clean, spacious and with a simply wonderful outdoor space. The location was great and with everything that we needed catered for in the villa we had no problems whatsoever in our 10 day stay thank you very much and we will be using your company in the future

Casa Thalatta has a lot going for it. It's in a residential area. It's a comfortable walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants and the walk is nearly all along quiet, landscaped, pedestrianised pavements. It feels like a gentrified area of Playa Blanca. It's very private, not overlooked at all, even in the garden. There's lots of outside space and plenty of places to be in the sunshine or in the shade. The pool was heated well enough that you could stay in for quite some time without going blue. Inside, the villa is quaintly Canarian - all dark wood and white walls. The furniture in the living area is extremely comfortable. There's plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. There's an old fashioned filter coffee machine (a modern pod machine wouldn't go amiss). There's a lovely outdoor utility area with a washing machine and washing line. It all feels very homely rather than a clinically-modern villa. The quaintly Canarian style does veer into shabby in some areas. Cupboard doors are wonky and don't close, shower cubicles have those plastic shower curtains which I hadn't seen since the 1980s. But we got used to it and rather fell in love with the place, warts and all. For us, the location is *almost* perfect and some people might be pleased at the proximity of the Aqualava Water Park and its occasional fun music and announcements over the Tannoy through the day and into the night. Otherwise it's just peace, quiet and birdsong. There is one thing that really should be improved. The bed in the master bedroom groans and creaks loudly with every slightest movement made. Amusing at first, but we left at the end of the fortnight in need of a good night's sleep. Please, Retreat Villas, replace the bed!! It's tricky to rate because it's all down to personal preference. Some of my friends and family would love the place, others would be horrified at the quaint shabbiness. I've gone for 4 stars because of that blasted bed....... Retreat Villas Response: Firstly we are pleased you had a good holiday, to address your points, I believe bathroom refurbishments are lined up at the villa soon so that ticks that box, regarding the bed I will get in contact with the owner now and see if this is something we can replace, we hadn't had any complaints previously or we would have addressed it. Let's see if we can get a pod coffee machine too!

Excellent accommodation and location. Great terrace view across bay to Fuenteventura. Not overlooked and pool cleaned twice weekly. Walking distance to town centre Would definitely recommend

We stayed in august 2024 and had a brilliant time. The pool and outdoor area are fantastic. Villa is well stocked for all kitchen items. We would 100% stay again.
